The Tiger Who Came to Tea, Knole, Sevenoaks
From Saturday, November 9
The much-anticipated exhibition - complete with life-sized tiger - arrives in Kent this weekend. It will be at the National Trust property until the beginning of January. Visitors can see the original children's book artwork, learn more about Judith Kerr's life and her family's escape from Nazi Germany, take part in activities and embark on an outdoor trail which comes with a treasured stripey feline prize at the end! Teynham Primary School fireworks display, Sittingbourne

Putting the ALL in football family fun day, Maidstone Museum

Maidstone Museum is going footy-mad this weekend with a family fun day to coincide with its new exhibition Maidstone: United in Football which tells the remarkable history of football in the town.
The family fun day will include a football trail to collect a badge prize and the chance to create a t-shirt in your favourite strip. There will also be the opportunity to meet local players. The event is free, but some activities may involve a small charge. It all takes place between 10am and 3.30pm.
Christmas Market and family fun day, Cornwallis Academy Maidstone

Snap up some unique gifts and enjoy some early festive fun at this event in Maidstone between 10am and 2pm. There will be a bouncy castle, soft play, sand art and face painting for youngsters, plenty of handmade items perfect for presents and hot and cold refreshments for all. Admission is £2 for adults and children go free.
The Nutcracker, Hazlitt Theatre, Maidstone
Sunday, November 10
Get swept away in a magical adventure with this traditional festive ballet which tells the story of Clara and her enchanted nutcracker doll. With its Christmas setting and Tchaikovsky’s score the show, by the Vienna Festival Ballet, is set to be popular with ballet fans young and old. It takes place at 2pm. There are a number of services at the county's war memorials and parades through village and town centres taking place on Sunday. Veterans will be joined by servicemen and women, cadet forces, schools and guiding and scouting units.
