Fireworks displays across Kent for bonfire night 2019

If you missed the fireworks action last weekend, there's still time to catch some events around the county.

Cornwallis Academy, Maidstone: The school is hosting its first fireworks event on Friday, November 8 at 7.30pm, with doors opening at 6pm. Tickets cost £10 for adults and £5 for concessions, while family deals are also available at cornwallisacademy.com

Elizabeth Harvie Field, Bearsted, Maidstone: This year’s event on Friday, November 8 is going to have bigger bangs, skyscraping rockets and wizzes to wow you, all provided by award winning Dynamic Fireworks. The event will open at 6pm and there will be a number of stalls selling hot food and drinks. Last entry will be at 7.15pm, fireworks starting at 7.30pm. Adult tickets are £10 and £5 for children but family deals are available. Book at wegottickets.com/f/12071

Bredhurst Primary School: The school will be holding its family firework extravaganza on Friday, November 8. Gates opens at 6pm with the display at 7pm. There will be hot dogs and refreshments on sale, plus a selection of light-up toys and sweets for the children. Tickets cost £24 for a family of two adults and up to three children or £8 for an adult and £6 for a child, with under threes free. For more information call 01634 231271.

Minterne School, Sittingbourne: Gates open at 6pm on Friday (November 8) for the school's annual display with fireworks from 7.15pm. A family ticket is £25, adult tickets £8 and children £5. There will be hot food and drinks and glow items to purchase. Tickets are available to purchase at Minterne Junior School, the Oaks Infant School and at the gates on the night.

Regis Manor, Sittingbourne: Live band Marylebone Jelly will be playing at the school's annual display on Friday, November 8, which also includes rides, a hog roast, bonfire and game stalls. Tickets are £7 for adults and £6 for children. Gates open at 5.30pm but visitors are asked to note that there is no parking on site. More details here.

Westerham Fireworks Spectacular, Beggars Lane: The last few tickets remain for this popular display on Friday night (November 8) . The event runs from 5pm with the display at 7.30pm. There will be beer, wine, street food and live music. For further details click here.

Bridge and Patrixbourne CEP School Bonfire and Fireworks, Bridge Recreation Ground: Gates open at 5.30pm for this event. There will be a bonfire and fireworks, hot food, a beer tent and glow toys for the kids. Tickets are now on sale from outlets including the school office, The Red Lion Pub, The White Horse Pub and Lower Hardes Farm Shop. Tickets are £20 for a family, £8 for adults or £4 for children.

St John’s Catholic Primary School, Gravesend: People can enjoy some BBQ food, tombolas and glow sticks for this event on Saturday, November 9.

The fireworks display is between 6pm and 8.30pm at Rochester Road school. Tickets must be booked in advance and are not available on the gate.

Marden Fireworks, Maidstone Road, Marden: The school has rearranged its display for this Saturday following last weeks cancellation because of the weather. Gates open for the display at 5pm. Food, refreshments and glow toys will be available. To book tickets click here.
