Flip Out in Ashford to hold a TikTok themed After Dark session this Friday, January 31

Fans of the video sharing app TikTok are being invited to a Kent attraction after dark to film their videos.

Trampoline park Flip Out in Ashford is hosting the event this Friday night (January 31).

The popularity of the social media app - in which users can film their own videos and clips to music has been growing rapidly particularly amongst children and teenagers.

Earlier this month a student from Medway announced that he was quitting his college course in order to follow his passion for making TikTok videos full time after amassing thousands of follows in just four months.

The five-hour event is promising live music and special effects and will enable fans and followers of the new social media sensation to create their content anywhere within the trampoline and adventure park.

The TikTok-themed after dark party will run from 5pm until 10pm at the attraction in Henwood Industrial Estate.

Entry is £15 and guests, say organisers, can stay for as little or as long as they like up until closing time.

Alongside a resident DJ playing classic TikTok sounds and songs made famous by the app will be strobe lighting, a haze machine and other 'party tunes' to match.
