When are the Kent and Medway Tests 2019 and when do the results come out?
Children in Medway will be the first to receive the results of their grammar school assessment tests, which they will sit this week.
Thousands of pupils across Kent and Medway are in the process of sitting either the Kent Test, Medway Test or their preferred grammar school's own assessment process. Scroll down for our downloadable school calendar of dates.
The majority of children who go to school in Medway will sit the examination on Tuesday and Wednesday (September 17 and 18).
They will be followed on Saturday (September 21) by pupils at a small handful of other Medway schools, including Kings School Rochester, as well as those living outside the unitary authority but who wish to be considered for a place at one of Medway's grammar schools.
Primary school pupils in Kent sat the Kent Test on Thursday, September 12 - with those living outside the county taking the examination on Saturday (September 14).
But despite being some of the last to sit the grammar school assessment it will be Medway Council which will release its results first.
Parents will be sent results of the Medway Test on Monday, October 7 via email after 4pm if families registered online or by first class letter posted on this date for those who registered on paper.
Kent County Council will release its results 10 days later on Thursday, October 17 also after 4pm via email for those who registered with the authority online.
