Clarks is offering parents a free new pair of shoes if children outgrow their old Clarks pair before February 28, 2021

Clarks says it will replace children's shoes for free if they outgrow their new pair by February.

The high street chain, which has branches across Kent, has launched a Back to School Fitting Guarantee for parents who take their offspring to be measured for new shoes in-store.

The offer applies to school shoes and boots, plimsoles and school sports shoes bought in person between now and September 14. Online sales do not count.

Clarks says it will guarantee that shoes from an infant size 10 upwards will remain the correct fit for a child from the date they are bought until February 28, 2021.

If a child's feet then do grow faster than expected before the end of February, a parent has the original receipt and the shoes had been fitted by a trained Clarks member of staff, who will also need to confirm that the shoes are now too small - then a new replacement pair will be offered free of charge.

The exchange offered will be for a pair of shoes, from the same ranges, that cost the same as the original pair which have been outgrown.

The offer also applies to infant sizes 7 to 9.5 but only until November 30 2020 to reflect the quicker time in which smaller children's feet do grow.
