Help your child with a range of spell-binding subjects this year by hiring a wizard-themed tutor to teach them at home.

Private tutoring in a Hogwarts-at-home style setting, complete with wands, capes and potions, is now available for families in Kent and comes in the same week as a Harry Potter themed shop opened in the county.

The magical new scheme has been launched by London-based company Exam Paper Plus, which offers resources, teaching materials, intensive revision and highly qualified private tutors for hire. Kent is one of the regions where tutors from its newly formed School of Magic are now available to book.

Tutors, says Exam Paper Plus, come fully dressed in costume and teach in a Harry Potter inspired way. It is expected that maths, science and chemistry will be the most popular lessons requested by families but other subjects are available on request.

Tutors will teach the set curriculum and are able to work with children aged three to 16.

But you may require a stash from Gringotts Bank to pay for a School of Magic session because whilst cost will vary depending on the location and travel time required, private tutors say Exam Paper Plus start with a basic hourly rate of around £60.

As part of the experience and depending on the tutoring package chosen, children will experience spell books specific to subjects, potions, capes, wands and other school accessories as well as a handwritten School of Magic acceptance letter upon completion of a course.

Faisal Nasim, director and private tutor at Exampapersplus.co.uk said: “We believe that creativity and inspiration can sometimes be lacking from the private tuition experience.

"Inspiring children to learn in new ways that capture their imagination has been proven to increase brain development and help memory function. Wizard-style learning is an exciting new way to keep your children engaged for longer with topics they may previously have struggled with."

The company says it is experiencing an influx of inquiries since the launch this month and is currently offering tutoring dates for around Christmas time.
