A department store has launched its latest range of miniature collectables.
Following the success of last year's Little Shop collection, in which 25 iconic M&S Food products were shrunk into toys for customers and their families to collect, play with and swap, this year's range is miniature seedling kits.
Shoppers spending £20 or more in M&S foodhalls will be offered a kit containing one of 12 different varieties of well-known vegetables, flowers or herbs.
M&S says it is hoped the Little Garden range will allow children to see first hand how plants grow whilst also enjoying the rewards of the plants that burst into flower for the first time or produce their first vegetables or herbs.
Shoppers won’t know which seedling they’ve got until they open it at home, with a carrot, pepper, pansy, viola, radish, beetroot, chilli pepper or forget-me-not – listed amongst the options.
And M&S insists no big garden is necessary with a sunny spot indoors all that is required to ensure all families can take part come rain or shine.
Kent has M&S foodhalls across the county including in Bluewater, Sittingbourne, Maidstone, Canterbury, Strood and Whitstable.
