Rock the Mote festival returns to Mote Park in Maidstone with tributes to Fleetwood Mac, the Rolling Stones, Whitney Houston, David Bowie, Dolly Parton and more

The ultimate tribute festival is bringing a weekend of your favourite bands to Maidstone.

Rock the Mote, which takes place at Mote Park, is a three-day festival that will pay homage to the likes of Fleetwood Mac, the Rolling Stones, Britney Spears and Whitney Houston.

With more than 40 acts across three stages, Rock the Mote is one of the UK’s biggest tribute festivals.

The stellar line-up will take to the stage on Saturday and Sunday, but visitors can arrive to set up their tents at the onsite camping area from Friday to really make a weekend of it.

The music is split across three stages - the rock stage, pop stage and heavy rock stage - so there is something for everyone.

On Saturday, the rock stage will see performances from the likes of Fleetingwood Mac, Guns 2 Roses, Fell Out Boy and The Stones, while Sunday boasts artists such as Ziggy as Above, Coolplay and Nerdvana.

The pop stage will kick off Saturday with Definitely Dolly, ABBA Revival and Absolute Britney, followed by artists such as Levena Johnson as Whitney Houston, Kylie Alike and Miss Lady Gaga on Sunday.

The heavy rock stage, which is only open on Saturday, will see bands such as Some Kind of Metallica, Counterfeit Kiss, Sabbotage and Dep Leppard take to the stage.

The family-friendly festival will also include a fairground and children’s activities for younger visitors to enjoy between bands. You can book your tickets here.

While the kids are having fun at the fair, the adults can head to the beer, cider and ale village and the prosecco, gin and cocktail parlour.

There will also be a buzzing street food festival where you can sample dishes from around the world.

Rock the Mote takes place at Mote Park, Maidstone, from Friday, August 5 to Sunday, August 7.
