The knights and their horses will do battle at Hever Castle once again this weekend in two days of thrilling action.

Hever Castle is open with limited capacity to ensure everyone's safety this summer so visitors will need to book ahead.

Jousting tournaments are taking place on both Saturday and Sunday afternoon and families will need garden tickets to watch.

Royal Engineers Museum, Gillingham

The Royal Engineers Museum in Gillingham reopens on Saturday and with the weather set to be a bit wetter and cooler in the coming days this could prove the ideal outing.

It is Kent's largest military museum - guaranteeing that there is plenty to see and do.

Tickets to visit the museum must be pre-booked with six visitors able to enter the museum every 30 minutes with visitors asked to wear a face covering.

Leeds Castle

Leeds Castle is currently offering 15 months for the price of 12 with its annual pass and this is the first weekend that the site is also reopening its historic castle.

Gardens and outdoor play areas were among the first parts of Leeds Castle to reopen to visitors - but now it's the turn of the attraction's indoor rooms too.

Visitors will need to prebook their date and time to visit to ensure all social distancing guidelines can be followed. Birds of prey displays are also set to resume from August 17.

Pedalos and rowing boats are available to hire at Mote Park this summer - providing the ideal socially distanced activity for all the family.
