The Gruffalo is back at Kent Life this weekend making regular appearances on both days. His visit coincides with the Bugs and Grubs two-day spectacular in which visitors are promised some creepy crawly fun with bug hunts, a crittle cuddle corner and the chance to spend some time making a minibeast.

Trainmaster Kent play sessions, Ash village hall near Canterbury

The trains are pulling into Canterbury on Saturday morning with some train-themed play sessions for tots.

There are plenty of activities from Trainmaster Kent being organised for youngsters on Saturday morning with three different classes planned for the day. Tickets are available to book, with discounts available to siblings. For more details click here.

Action packed fun for both adults and children takes place at Nerf Battles in Canterbury.

Hide behind giant inflatable bunkers, enjoy team work and lead a team to victory. It costs £7 a person with £3 for additional siblings and you can pay at reception on arrival. The games are suitable for children aged six and above and begin at 9.30am. Learn more here.
