Tonbridge Model Railway Exhibition, The Angel Centre, Tonbridge

The annual Tonbridge Model Railway exhibition is said to be one of the largest one-day model railway shows in the area. It takes place between 10am and 5pm this Saturday. Chris Vine, author of the 'Peter's Railway' series of children's books will be meeting visitors and signing copies of his stories this weekend. He will also be providing inspiring Junior Engineering talks at Tenterden station at 10am and 1pm, with the help of the KESR's 100-year-old Norwegian locomotive.

Comics: Explore and Create Comic Art, The Beaney, Canterbury

A colourful and interactive exhibition to delight the whole family! See influential British comic icons such as Desperate Dan, Dennis the Menace and Minnie the Minx alongside Captain America, Wonder Woman, Superman and Hulk. There are also hands-on activities, a host of props, objects and special devices. Tickets can be booked in advance and admission is from £5.
