Saturday, December 21

The annual Heart of Kent Hospice Santa Dash takes place during Saturday's home game in Maidstone. Runners of all ages will make a dash across the football pitch at half time at around 3.45pm.

Tickets cost £5 for under fives, £10 for ages up to 16 and £18 for adults with discounts available for family bookings. The cost includes a ticket to watch Maidstone Utd v Dorking Wanderers and participants are also given a Santa suit, including beard and hat and a medal. Sign up here.

Rustic Reindeer Making, Milton Creek Country Park, Sittingbourne

Saturday, December 21

The Friends of Milton Creek Country Park will be getting kids out in the fresh air and building reindeer on Saturday. The materials will be locally sourced and kits cost £5. Children must be accompanied by an adult to take part and the event is outside so wrapping up warm is advised! More details and the time slots available here.

Santa Saturday, Forum Shopping Centre, Sittingbourne

If the kids have some last minute messages for Father Christmas get along to Sittingbourne's shopping centre on Saturday, December 21. Between 11am and 3pm Santa will be stopping by, meeting youngsters and giving out treats. The event is free and there is no need to book.

It's the final weekend for festive decorations and activities on Saturdays at Knole. The Great Hall has been decorated for Christmas, there is carol singing and family activities - not forgetting The Tiger Who Came to Tea exhibition which is running at Knole until Sunday, January 5. Demelza Festive Family Walk, Rook Lane

Sunday, December 22

Kick off your family's Christmas celebrations with a family festive walk around the lanes of the Sittingbourne hospice.

Gates will open at 4pm with the festive walk leaving at 4:30pm. Walkers should bring a light to walk the lanes and look out for the local Christmas lights and see a special visitor along the route!

The Christmas Markets have become a popular yearly event for Faversham and its Market Square and this weekend will see the final events before Christmas.

Pick up gorgeous locally made gifts and produce, enjoy some festive music and try some food and drink. With brass bands, carol singing and even some visiting donkeys there will definitely be something for everyone.
