Get free cinema tickets this weekend with the National Lottery Cinema Weekend

Film fans living in Kent can enjoy a trip to the cinema for free this weekend - all they need is to have bought a lottery ticket.

The National Lottery Cinema Weekend, in partnership with the BFI, will take place on Saturday, June 19 and Sunday, June 20 at cinemas across the county, as well as hundreds more across the UK with more than 200,000 free tickets available.

Film lovers can claim a pair of tickets to watch any film screening of their choice across the weekend, as a thank you to National Lottery players for their vital contribution to film.

Through the BFI (British Film Institute), the National Lottery supports new and established filmmakers, film education and training, as well as enabling the UK public to see a wide range of films.

All you need is your National Lottery ticket, scratchcard or Instant Win game to apply for a pair of adult cinema tickets.

Films showing at the moment include tense sequel A Quiet Place II; Emma Stone in Cruella; Godzilla vs King Kong starring Millie Bobby Brown and The Father, which won Sir Anthony Hopkins an Oscar.

Cinemas across Kent taking part are: Odeon Maidstone; Cineworld Rochester; Odeon Chatham; Light Sittingbourne; Odeon Tunbridge Wells; Rusthall Community Cinema; Bluewater Showcase Cinema de Lux; Cineworld Ashford; Ashford Picturehouse; Odeon Orpington; Cineworld Bexleyheath; the Gulbenkian; Bromley Picturehouse; Curzon Canterbury.
