Get ready to sink your teeth into a brilliant day out at Howletts Wild Animal Park when kids' TV favourite Andy Day brings his dinosaur show to the park, near Canterbury, on Saturday, June 16.

Dino Raps is perfect for lovers of all things prehistoric, whatever your age. However, visitors are in for double the fun as they can also explore the newly opened Animals of the Ice Age exhibition, featuring life sized creatures from a frozen time, including the spectacular sabre toothed cats, mighty mammoth and giant sloth.

The exhibition - along with the chance to see Andy's live performances of his famous Dino Raps - are all included in the price of a day ticket.

The Bafta-nominated star will be performing twice during the course of the day at the Pavilion Restaurant area. Visitors are advised to bring blankets to sit on and appropriate clothing for the British summer.

What's more, a lucky family can meet Andy after one of his performances when they take part in the Dino Raps themed competition on the day.

Meanwhile, across the park, home to the largest herd of African elephants in the UK, visitors will also be able to join in with a variety of elephant themed activities, including the chance to explore behind the scenes of the Elephant House with a guided tour, costing £15 per adult and £12 per child, with discounts for Annual Park Members.

Howletts is home to over 400 animals, including Kent’s only giant anteaters and more gorillas, tigers, leopards and monkeys than any animal park in the county.

Visitors can not only get face to face with lions and tigers in their glass fronted enclosures but can also walk with lemurs as the inquisitive primates explore the branches above.

For the adventurous, the Treetop Challenge, an obstacle course with tyre bridges, wobbly walkways and zip wire is bound to thrill and for younger visitors, the Animal Adventure Challenge with climbing walls and bird’s nest swing is lots of fun.
