Tickets to Santa's Grotto in Kent at Calverley Gardens in Tunbridge Wells now on sale
Grab your tickets to see Santa in Kent - in either his grotto, in your home, on your doorstep or via Zoom!
Elves in Calverley Grounds, Tunbridge Wells have become among the first in the county to put tickets on sale to meet Father Christmas as festive plans are arranged around coronavirus restrictions.
And amongst the options for families in Kent this year is a new home visit alternative or the opportunity for kids to catch up with the man in red over a computer should the rules become tighter the closer we get to Christmas.
Father Christmas will be visiting the Tunbridge Wells ice rink, which also put its tickets on sale this week together with a free ticket offer for 10-year-olds , between Saturday, November 28 and Christmas Eve.
The picturesque natural amphitheatre of Calverley Grounds is the perfect venue to see Father Christmas, say those behind grotto.
A visit, say organisers, will allow plenty of time to talk to Santa and at the end of each visit children can choose an age appropriate gift. Children’s gifts and the visit are both included in the ticket price of £18.50 per child and adults £3.
But alongside the opportunity to book into the grotto, Father Christmas also has some time to make some very personalised street visits where, providing restrictions allow, he can bring gifts during a 15 minute home visit either inside or from the doorstep whilst he will also be making calls to youngsters from his log cabin to families who would prefer that as an option.
There are 10 home visit slots available in the county each day, say the elves behind the plans.
