by Lauren Abbott

Mount Ephraim in Faversham will reopen on Easter Sunday.

Having been closed for the winter, the country house and gardens is celebrating the start of its spring and summer season with a children's Easter Egg trail around the gardens.

Taking place on Easter Sunday, April 1, and Easter Monday, April 2, the event promises to be a fantastic family outing in which following the clues will lead to chocolatey prizes.

The tea room and gardens will be open from 11am until 5pm on both the Sunday and Monday.

Mount Ephraim is in Staplestreet Road, Hernhill in Faversham. The following month, Mount Ephraim will be bringing back its popular Pat a Lamb event on Sunday, May 6 and Bank Monday, May 7.

The spring lambs will be out and families are invited to come and meet them while also seeking out the lambs hidden in the gardens as part of the Spring Lamb Trail.

The usual garden entrance fee of £7 for adults and £2.50 for children aged four to 16 applies to both events.
