PYO Pumpkin fields open this weekend in Kent including Chilton Manor Farm and Saffery Farm

Pull on those wellies, get the kids out in the fresh air and inject some autumn vibes into your half term holiday.

PYO Pumpkins, Beluncle Farm, Hoo

Beluncle Farm in Hoo is offering prebooked slots to its pumpkin fields. It is open this weekend and then daily over the half term holiday.

Booking your slot is free but must be done in advance and pricing is £20 for a wheelbarrow of up to 15 pumpkins. Pumpkins are not being sold individually. To learn more about the new arrangements please click here .

Chilton Manor Farm, Sittingbourne

The field is open on Saturday between 10am and 4.30pm and on Sunday between 10am and 4pm and then every day until Halloween - or until the farm sells out!

You won't need to prebook a slot to visit but may be asked to wait if the field gets particularly busy just to allow for social distancing. Visitors are also reminded to keep groups to no more than six people.

Pumpkin Garden, Spadework, Teston Road, West Malling

The charity for adults with learning disabilities is hoping that visitors to its pumpkin picking patch will help boost the organisation's funds which have been hit hard by coronavirus.

The field is now open every day to visitors right up until Halloween and there is no need to pre-book but numbers will be carefully controlled to enable social distancing.

Saffery Farm, Owens Court Road, Faversham

The picturesque Saffery Farm will be open to pumpkin pickers from Saturday, October 24 until Halloween. No booking is required but visitors will be expected to follow all regulations including coming along in groups of no more than six people.

If the field is busy, families may be asked to wait until space to allow for social distancing becomes available.

The field is open 10am until 4pm. Drinks will be available to purchase, but no baked goods this year. To learn more click here .

Pumpkin Moon, Rainham, Maidstone and Bapchild

Pumpkin Moon has three popular sites for keen pumpkin pickers this year in Sittingbourne, Medway and Maidstone.

Families will need to pre-book their slot to visit the fields to enable staff to manage numbers and collect the required details for Track and Trace.

PYO Pumpkins, Sevington, near Ashford

Pumpkins at the site are priced by size, with little ones £1 and monster ones £8. The working farm asks for visitors to wear masks as they enter and leave the site.

Whatever your size, you will need to wear wellies and gloves. There is no entrance fee. Visit pickyourownpumpkin.farm to book your visit.
