M&S launches Halloween themed Colin the Caterpillar to help families plan the ultimate fright night in

Colin the Caterpillar is getting a spooktacular Halloween makeover and becoming Frankencolin!

With October 31 celebrations for children set to be a little different this year M&S, which has branches and food stores across Kent, has unveiled a Halloween themed range designed for family feasting indoors.

It is being described as bigger and better than anything M&S has released before and is in response to the changes the coronavirus pandemic is expected to bring to Halloween celebrations at the end of this month.

And whilst there's likely to be no trick or treat outings this year - the treats will still flow thick and fast hopes those behind the new products with cakes, sweets and even Halloween-themed squashes all set for the shelves.

Families keen to throw the ultimate fright night in can choose from sticky toffee cookies, pumpkin-shaped bloomers and an epic jelly centrepiece caclled a Petrifying Popping Candy Brain.

There is also Creepy Peeper and Goolish Gang Chocolates, Bubbly Boo milk chocolate, Fizzy Whizzy Bats and Oozing skulls.

Whilst alongside the Frankenstein-themed Colin the Caterpillar, which comes in both a large and miniature sizes and will arrive on October 14, is also Dracula's Blood high juice which is a creepy crimson brew with an apple, strawberry and raspberry fruity flavour.

Prices for items in the range start from just 75p whilst pumpkins can also be brought in store for carving at home, and start from 65p.
