LEGO comes to The Historic Dockyard in Chatham for Brick History Month

It has a history of building ships but it's building bricks that one Kent attraction will be specialising in from next month.

The Historic Dockyard in Chatham is bringing Brick History to its exhibition space - 13.8 billion years of history depicted through LEGO bricks.

From the Big Bang to dinosaurs, the suffragette movement to the moon landings, over 40 models will be on display from Friday, July 6.

All are exploring themes of art, equality, conflict, exploration and transport through the years.

The exciting display is running for the duration of the summer holidays, closing on Sunday, September 16.

There are even pieces amongst the display which are key to the Dockyard's own history - such as the model of the Battle of Trafalgar with the Chatham made ship HMS Victory.

And fully aware that having seen the sensational displays that visitors will want a go at creating their own masterpieces, a soft play area full of LEGO bricks and soft play LEGO will be available to enable families to get creative!
