Ashford trampoline park Flip Out to open in July

An old packaging factory has become the latest venue for a Kent trampoline park.

Flip Out Ashford is the next outlet in a growing trampoline franchise leap-frogging across the county and will open this July.

Husband and wife team Lisa and Steve Wootton have invested £1.5 million to launch Flip Out in a 28,000sq ft building on Ashford’s Henwood Industrial Estate.

It is set to open for the first time on Saturday, July 8.

The Ashford site features connected trampolines along floors and walls, including zones for stunts, slam dunks, dodgeball, foam pits, a Ninja warriors course and fitness classes.

It is the second Flip Out for Kent. The first opened in Chatham Maritime.

There are also trampoline parks in Maidstone, Tonbridge and Gillingham and soon to be another at Bluewater Shopping Centre.

Flip Out Ashford has free parking for more than 100 vehicles , has a spacious cafe on the first floor and around 60 jobs are understood to have been created as a result of the venture.

Steve Wootton said: “We have taken an empty shell of a building and turned it into a fabulous trampolining arena that has to be seen to be believed.

“In the months running up to the opening, we have attracted thousands of followers on social media eager to be a part of what we have created here. I thank them for their patience and look forward to welcoming them all to share in the fun.
