Head along to the Marlowe for this festive favourite that's perfect for the whole family. Let's All Dance presents a kids-sized version of The Nutcracker that still keeps all the original elements in tact. Suitable for all ages.

The Winter Trail Leeds Castles
Boxing Day to Monday, January 2
Walk off the Christmas dinner with the family on this Beatrix Potter-themed trail. Kids can collect clues and once completed hand in their card to be put in the prize draw. As well as the usual castle entry, there's a small additional charge for the trail.

Reindeer Ramble Wildwood, Canterbury Road, near Herne Bay
Friday, December 23 and Christmas Eve
Head to Wildhood to meet the reindeer and find out more about Santa's favourite animal. On Friday, after a Reindeer Ramble, children can roll up their sleeves and make some reindeer goodies to take home. On Saturday, Christmas crafts are the order of the day. Both sessions cost £4 per person and must be booked. The Wildwood grotto is also open right up until Christmas Eve.

Singalong with the movies Queens Hall Theatre, Cranbrook
Wednesday. December 28 to Friday December 30
Top off the festivities with a family singalong - choose from Frozen (Wednesday), Mary Poppins (Thursday) or the Rocky Horror Picture Show for older children (Friday). With songs such as Let It Go andSupercalifragilisticexpialidocious to join in with there's loads of fun to be had.

Christmas Tales with Granddad Folkestone Quarterhouse

The last two days of the production have two shows each - 11am and 2.30pm. Ideal for ages three and above, the show's a perfect family outing in the build up to Christmas.

Running until Christmas Eve
Make Christmas Eve even more special this year with a visit to meet Father Christmas in the centre of Maidstone at just £4 per child. The grotto is outside Vision Express and Bon Marche, and there's a gift with every visit.
