Theatre shows in Kent for the Easter holidays 2019
The school holidays always bring with them a fantastic range of stage shows.

The Noise Next Door: All At Sea, Marlowe Studio, Canterbury
Thursday, April 11
The Noise Next Door are swinging back into action with an epic new show that’s fun for the whole family! Join the crazy crew for an adventure on the high seas chasing down the fearsome Captain Bloodbeard.
The undisputed masters of off-the-cuff comedy will transform audience suggestions into ferociously funny scenes and songs in the blink of an eye with a perfect blend of ludicrous characters, witty one-liners, and explosive physicality.
The perfect outing for theatregoers aged five to 105! The show takes place at 3pm and lasts around one hour. Tickets available here.
The Jungle Book, The Woodville, Gravesend and Theatre Royal, Margate
Saturday, April 13 and Sunday, April 14 in Margate and Monday, April 15 and Tuesday, April 16 in Gravesend
The Jungle Book tells the story of Mowgli, a young boy who is raised in the jungle by a family of wolves. When Shere Khan the tiger swears to kill the child, Baloo the bear and Bagheera the panther, agree to take the boy to the man village for his safety. But the jungle holds danger and surprises for them all in this hilarious adventure of a lifetime!
With new songs, creative staging and bags full of fun, this show is perfect for a holiday outing for your cheeky monkeys!

Land of Nod, The Marlowe Studio, Canterbury

Where do we really go when we fall asleep? Moon On A Stick blend puppetry, captivating storytelling and an enchanting musical score in this star-light adventure all about tiredness, over-tiredness, wonder and waking up.

Bing Live, The Woodville, Gravesend
April 19 to April 21
Bing and his friends are coming to Gravesend in the first ever Bing stage show! Join Bing, Sula, Coco and Pando as they find out how to tell stories by pretending, dressing-up and singing songs. Flop and Amma are there to help, but in this magical world of make-believe things don’t always go according to plan.
You little one's favourite characters will all appear in this new show which is set to be full of fun, laughter and music and the perfect first theatre trip for pre-schoolers and their families.

In The Night Garden, Orchard Theatre, Dartford
Thursday, April 18 until Monday, April 22
Igglepiggle, Upsy Daisy, Makka Pakka and friends are back in their new live show Igglepiggle’s Busy Day. You can join Igglepiggle as he looks for his friends in the Night Garden by following their funny sounds until he finds them all!
The characters are set to be beautifully brought to life with full-size costumes, magical puppets, and enchanting music. The show lasts just under an hour.
Alice in Wonderland, The Hazlitt, Maidstone

Join Alice down the rabbit hole in her magical adventures through Wonderland in this brand-new staging of Lewis Carroll’s family favourite ‘Alice In Wonderland.
