Scummy Mummies Helen Thorne and Ellie Gibson announce Kent show at Whistable Playhouse

It's best described as comedy for less than perfect parents and being billed as a 'perfect' mums' night out and a great way to celebrate the end of term.

Hit comedy duo The Scummy Mummies are bring their all new Scummy Mummies Show to Kent this summer.

Following a sell-out UK tour the comedy pairing of Ellie Gibson and Helen Thorn are making their very first appearance in Whitstable in July.

From drinking wine at tea time, to discussing the perils of potty training and nits and hiding from the school PTA - Ellie and Helen say they laugh at and celebrate the 'scummier side' of parenting.

The Scummy Mummies, whose Instagram account is followed by 65,000 people, have featured on ITV, BBC's Woman's Hour, BBC Radio 4 and Sky News and their hit podcast was listed among the Guardian's top 50.

Their show in Whitstable is being organised by Kent-based company Mums The Word, which is creating a new network for mums and their families by hosting inspiring meet ups, talks and live events.

The Scummy Mummies are coming to the county off the back of sell-out dates across the country and hit-shows at various comedy festivals.

The (all new) Scummy Mummies Show is on Saturday, July 14 at 7.45pm at Whistable Playhouse.

Tickets cost £17.50 each are are expected to sell out fast.
