Michael Rosen to open Sevenoaks Bookshop's refubished children's department

Much loved children's author Michael Rosen will be joining children on a book hunt when he visits a Kent bookshop later this month. 

The former children's laureate will be at Sevenoaks Bookshop on Friday, September 29 to reopen its refurbished children's department. 

The poet whose work includes the infamous 'We're going on a bear hunt' will be cutting a ribbon and joining the celebrations between noon and 1pm.

The bookshop said a selection of his books, including his new memoir So They Call You Pisher, will also be available to buy and have signed on the day. 

The bookshop in the High Street has been making some gradual changes to his children's area over the past year including the arrival of a special oak tree table.
