Go Ape at Leeds Castle and Bedgebury in Kent are to reopen in July with bookings now being taken
The kids can go from climbing the walls to climbing trees - when two popular activity centres return after months of closure.
Go Ape in reopening for a forest adventure like no other - with tickets for some sessions having already sold out. It comes as adventure playgrounds in Kent can also reopen from this weekend.
The news is set to be music to the ears of cooped up parents who can now give their energetic offspring something else to enjoy with the family.
Activities are resuming at both Go Ape sites in Kent - at Leeds Castle near Maidstone and at Bedgebury Pinetum near Goudhurst.
Bedgebury will be the first to reopen - now taking booking for visitors from Saturday, July 4 onwards.
Go Ape at Leeds Castle will follow the week after and is now open for bookings from Friday, July 10.
The company says it has put a raft of new measures in place to ensure social distancing and staff and customer safety which includes new 'sneeze screens' and additional hand washing stations.
Only one person is allowed on any ladder, crossing or zip wire at a time which naturally enables social distancing whilst up to three people from the same household can be on a platform, but not two people from different households in order to meet the new guidelines.
The number of people able to join each timed session is limited and consequently the numbers in instructional briefings will also be restricted as well as all equipment being cleaned between customers.
Founder of Go Ape Tristram Mayhew said he hoped the reopening would give families the opportunity to make some fresh new memories after considerable time in lockdown.
He said: “Many people have had a really tough time through the pandemic. This is our time to lead by example and help them.
“Let’s pull together and give Britain back an amazing naturally thrilling, experience.Let’s get creating hundreds of thousands of positive life changing memories.”
