The company says it has put a raft of new measures in place to ensure social distancing and staff and customer safety which includes new 'sneeze screens' and additional hand washing stations.

Only one person is allowed on any ladder, crossing or zip wire at a time which naturally enables social distancing whilst up to three people from the same household can be on a platform, but not two people from different households in order to meet the new guidelines.

The number of people able to join each timed session is limited and consequently the numbers in instructional briefings will also be restricted as well as all equipment being cleaned between customers.

Founder of Go Ape Tristram Mayhew said he hoped the reopening would give families the opportunity to make some fresh new memories after considerable time in lockdown.
He said: “Many people have had a really tough time through the pandemic. This is our time to lead by example and help them.

“Let’s pull together and give Britain back an amazing naturally thrilling, experience. Let’s get creating hundreds of thousands of positive life changing memories.”
