When is Aladdin released and where can I see it in Kent?

Getting ready to burst from the lamp this May half term is Disney's latest all-action remake Aladdin

The adaptation of the 1992 film of the same name has been directed by Guy Ritchie and, amongst others, stars actor Will Smith as the wish-granting Genie.

Despite having an official release date at many cinemas of Friday, May 24 there are preview screenings at the vast majority of Kent cinemas from Wednesday, May 22. Here's when and where you can now pre-book Aladdin tickets in Kent:

Showcase Cinema De Lux, Bluewater:

Bluewater's IMAX 2D experience will be the first to show the film at 10.30am on Wednesday, May 22.

There are both IMAX and 2D showings of the film throughout that week and into the May half term holiday, all of which are now available to pre-book. Get full details and showtimes here.

Vue, Thanet:

Vue in Westwood Cross will open screenings of the Disney blockbuster on Wednesday evening. Aladdin swoops in on a magic carpet from 5.25pm, followed by a second showing at 8.15pm.

Cineworld, Ashford, Dover and Rochester:

All three Kent branches of Cineworld will have Aladdin screenings from May 22 and tickets are now available to pre-book for showings on Wednesday and Thursday (May 22 and May 23).

Odeon, Canterbury, Chatham, Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells:
According to Odeon, Aladdin is released on May 24 but there are preview screenings on May 22 and May 23 at some cinemas.

Currently it is only the Tunbridge Wells Odeon branch with Aladdin tickets available to pre-book and that can be done so here.

Kavanagh Cinema, Herne Bay:

Herne's Bay independent cinema has showings listed for Aladdin on May 22 and May 23 but no tickets yet available to pre-book.

New Century Cinema, Sittingbourne:

The Sittingbourne cinema next to the town's bingo hall has showings of Aladdin listed for May 22 and May 23 at 5pm.

The screenings are described as 'premier releases' which means the ticket price is £5 instead of the general admission ticket price of £3. Tickets for New Century Cinema are made available via the box office - tickets are not sold via the website or phonline.
