Gulbenkian Theatre gives The Bear a home
Ever wondered what it would be like to sit on a polar bear's lap?
Give it a bath? Clear up its poo?
One night when she is fast asleep an enormous snowy white bear climbs into Tilly's bedroom but Tilly is not scared.
Canterbury's The Gulbenkian Theatre will be telling the tale of Tilly and her giant furry friend when Raymond Briggs' The Bear stomps onto the stage on Friday, February 3 and Saturday, February 4.
The Bear is described as a heart-warming and humorous wintry tale from the team that brought you the hugely successful 'Father Christmas'.
With puppetry, music, storytelling and promises of 'dozens of laughs' 'The Bear' is described as an unforgettable experience for the whole family and a perfect introduction to theatre for little people.
Performances take place at 11am and 1.30pm.
Tickets: £8, £6.50 for groups of four or more and babies on laps £1.
The show is suitable for children aged three plus and lasts approximately 55 minutes.
