Cornavirus Kent: PE with Body Coach Joe Wicks on Friday April 3 to have fancy dress theme

Fans and followers of the Joe Wicks PE classes are being urged to join Friday's class in fancy dress.

Hundreds of thousands of families have been tuning in every weekday morning to join the fitness expert's energetic classes since he offered to take on the role as 'the nation's PE teacher' when the schools closed almost a fortnight ago because of the cornavirus outbreak.

The 30-minute classes live streamed from Joe Wicks' You Tube channel at 9am have also raised thousands of pounds for the NHS since he pledged to donate any revenue generated to frontline services fighting the pandemic. Download and colour this free poster thanking the NHS here.

To end this second week of virtual classes the father-of-two, who is also sporting a broken arm, has announced he'll be getting dressed up on Friday (April 3) and is calling on others to all do the same.

In a message on his Instagram page he wrote "Fancy getting dressed up for the workout on Friday? I'll be dressed in something fun. Get involved. Be a right laugh won't it!"

Families are being asked to share their fancy dress photos across social media using the hashtag #FancyDressPEwithJoe
