Dane John Gardens in Canterbury to host KM Group family fun day Buster's Big Bash

Have you signed your family up for a day of space-hopper racing, go-karting and free goodies?

Buster's Big Bash takes place this Saturday and there is just a few hours left to claim your family's free ticket.

The annual event celebrates the KM Charity Team’s walk to school projects and reading reward initiative Buster’s Book Club.

There will be circus performers, sporting challenges, emergency vehicles and stalls all at the event in Dane John Gardens, Canterbury this Saturday (May 18).

The fun takes place between 10am and 12.30pm - and the first 300 children to check in will receive a goody bag. In addition, every child who completes a special challenge sheet will be awarded with a visitor-attraction voucher.

The event will start with an attempt to break the record for the longest walk-to-school ‘crocodile’ that has ever walked down a Kent street.

Then, after children have completed a host of challenge activities, there will be a circus performance and a teddy bears’ picnic.

Buster’s Big Bash is free, but attendees need to register by noon on Friday (May 17) at www.kmcharityteam.co.uk/booking
