Hever Castle offers discounted tickets for lockdown visits ahead of Christmas opening
A historical attraction in Kent is offering discounted tickets for visitors keen to spend some time outside.
Hever Castle, which has been able to keep its outdoor spaces open during this latest lockdown, has reduced the cost of entry tickets until November 20.
Families wishing to enjoy autumnal walks in its 150 acres of picturesque grounds and gardens can do so at a reduced price of £10 for adults and £6 for children aged five to 17.
The Castle itself is currently closed to visitors because of the latest lockdown but the gardens and play areas are welcoming visitors, the shop is open for the collection of online orders and the restaurant, cafes and kiosks are running takeaway services in line with the latest rules.
Families wishing to take advantage of the temporary reduced entry price must continue to book their visit online in advance for a set date and time and whilst the offer is running there are no other concessions for seniors, students or family rates available.
Hever Castle is set to launch its much-anticipated Christmas events from Saturday, November 21. With lockdown scheduled to remain in place until December 2, organisers hope to continue to be able to run some its outdoor events for Christmas ticket holders during this period which includes both the outdoor trail and festive light installations.
Families with tickets to see Santa will be contacted by Hever Castle in the coming days.
