The Easter quest takes place every day between Friday, March 30 and Monday, April 2 from 10am until 5pm and costs £1 to take part on top of the normal admission charge to the castle near Deal.

Meanwhile along the coast at Dover Castle is a time travelling adventure where families can meet medieval knights and roaming princesses.

Re-live the story of George and the Dragon as brave St George valiantly battles with the dastardly dragon on horseback. There will be storytelling and fire-eating jesters too.

Dover Castle is promising a 'fun-packed weekend of time travel' for children between Good Friday and Easter Monday.
