Beastie Days at Brogdale Collections in Faversham

by Lauren Abbott

Epic moths, devil stick insects and giant cockroaches.

It's maybe not for the faint-hearted or the squeamish but Brogdale Collection's latest Beastie Day is set to be as popular as all the rest with mini beast hunters.

The latest event in the attraction's calendar is Friday, June 2 to co-incide with the half-term break that begins at the end of this month.

Tickets are already on sale for the event which will include a hunt through the orchards to collect bugs and learn more about their life in the wild, close encounters with live bugs and the chance to get crafty by building your very own bug to take home.

The day, which runs 10am until 3pm, is broken by lunch where bug hunters and their families are encouraged to bring a picnic to enjoy with everyone taking part in the event.

Tickets which are now on sale from Brogdale's website are £6.50 for children aged two to 17 and £1 for adults. Pre-booking is recommended.
