Wow! It's Night Time, The Gulbenkian Theatre, Canterbury

Saturday, March 23

The curious little owl is back, and this time she’s ready to discover the wonders of night-time, from the big, bright moon to the bats in the sky and the foxes deep in the forest. But where are all the other owls? The charming production is at The Gulbenkian Theatre for two performances this Saturday at 11.30am and 2pm.

Northern Ballet will take to the big screen this weekend

Bite-sized ballet: The Three Little Pigs, cinemas countywide

A ballet company is bringing its work to the big screen this weekend. Northern Ballet's popular children's ballet of the Three Little Pigs is coming to cinemas across the county this Saturday.

The ballets feature performances by Northern Ballet’s world-class dancers with the colourful designs and captivating music. For

cinema, the ballets have been enhanced with charming animations and will offer an interactive experience with the story narrated by BBC star Anita Rani and dance demos with the loveable characters for children to learn some of their iconic moves.

Showings are scheduled for Bluewater, Herne Bay, Ashford and Westwood Cross.

Daffodils at Hever Castle

Dazzling Daffodils, Hever Castle

Enjoy the first new days of spring with a walk amongst Hever Castle's 14,000 new daffodils which are now blooming across the gardens and grounds.

Alongside a range of talks and tours will be daffodil themed craft workshops taking place on both Saturday and Sunday for children between 10.30 and 4pm.

Betteshanger's Spring Trail has arrived

Betteshanger Country Park has now launched its Spring Trail - just in time for the upcoming school break. Join Curtis the greedy caterpillar as he visits his woodland friends on a quest to cure his hunger. The self-led trail will take you into the woods where you will be tasked with some fun activities and be challenged to unravel the riddles.

Welly boots are advised and the trail costs £1.50 per pack available between 9.30am and 3pm from Cycle Hire. The trail is suitable for all ages but most suited to three to eight-year-olds. To learn more click here.

Lambing in Kent

Lambing weekend, The High Weald Academy, Cranbrook

Saturday, March 23 and 24, 10am to 4pm

Visit the lambs at The High Weald Academy where all proceeds from the event support the farm. Admission is £2, with children under three free, and the site is fully accessible.

There are refreshments available for visitors as well as free parking and hand washing facilities. More details can be found here.

Cirque Berserk!

Cirque Berserk, The Orchard Theatre, Dartford

Direct from the West End, Britain’s biggest theatre circus spectacular is back! Combining contemporary cirque-style artistry with adrenaline fuelled stunt action, the talented international troupe includes over 30 jugglers, acrobats, aerialists, dancers, drummers and daredevil stuntmen who will showcase the finest in traditional circus thrills and skills.

Learn To Play Day encourages children to pick up an instrument

Free music lessons, Learn To Play Day, MusicStation

Saturday, March 23 and Sunday, March 24

Learn to Play Day arrives this weekend with the aim of encouraging children of all ages and abilities to take up learning to play a musical instrument.

There will be free lessons in the MusicStation teaching studio at K Sports, Aylesford between noon and 5pm on Saturday, March 23.

Learn to Play is also taking place with MusicStation at the Tonbridge centre on the same day and at The Forum in Tunbridge Wells on March 24.
