A Kent theatre is looking to offer 100 young people the opportunity to tread its boards this summer.

The Orchard Theatre in Dartford is looking for budding performers aged between nine and 19 to take part in a process where they will work with a highly skilled professional team to learn, rehearse and perform a musical in just two weeks.

Following last year's project Bugsy Malone, preparations have now begun for this year's chosen show Little Shop of Horrors.

The theatre is calling actors, singers, dancers and technicians to all express an interest in taking part in the summer youth project.

Auditions will take place on Sunday, March 12 at the theatre.

To apply for an audition place, or to be a part of the technical team, visit the website and follow the link to the online registration form.
