Following last year's record breaking show, join TV star Stephen Mulhern and Marlowe favourites Ben Roddy and Lloyd Hollett for Dick Whittington. Written and directed by Paul Hendy, it's the same production team as last year so expect a fun-packed show full of family entertainment. Tickets are selling fast!

Switching on of the Christmas lights, Strood town centre

Christmas lights switch on at Friary Place, Strood

Saturday, November 26, 3.45pm to 5pm

Children's favourite Marshall from Paw Patrol will help switch on the lights at Friary Place, Strood. There also will be live music, majorettes, musical theatre and competitions with prizes. A good fun day out.

Little Angel Theatre Company's production of We're Going On A Bear Hunt

Whatever age the children are, they'll know Michael Rosen's We're Going On A Bear Hunt. Kids will love seeing the book on stage in this production by Little Angel's Theatre. With at least two performances a day, there's plenty of opportunity to catch the show. Suitable for children aged two and over.

Celebrate a Victorian Christmas at Ightham Mote

For Ightham Mote's opening Christmas weekend, there will be a mini-market and children's craft activity. Father Christmas will be visiting both days to hand out presents and on Sunday visitors can even meet the reindeer. Booking is not needed and the usual attraction entry charge applies.

Here's a shopping trip that won't have the children moaning as there's more than 40 different stalls packed with Christmas ideas. The Christmas market will run from Saturday, November 26 until Saturday, December 24. Santa's grotto opens on Saturday, December 3.
