Commemorations for the 75th anniversary of D-Day will continue with live music and Rolls Royce cars at Kent's Battle of Britain Memorial this weekend.

The event at Capel-le-Ferne is on Sunday (June 9) and includes performances by singers of the Folkestone Rock Choir and the talented young musicians of the Kent Youth Jazz Orchestra (KYJO).

The Battle of Britain Memorial Trust, which looks after the site, will also be welcoming members of the South Eastern Section of the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts’ Club, who will be showing off their highly polished, lovingly cared-for machines against the impressive backdrop of The Wing and The Memorial.

Rolls Royces will be on show at Sunday's D-Day 75 event at the Battle of Britain Memorial, Capel

Last year’s visit by the Rolls-Royce owners saw an impressive variety of iconic machinery arrive at the site, from carefully restored vintage models through to modern-day head-turners.

Both music groups are well respected and promise to provide great entertainment to mark the anniversary of D-Day on 6 June 1944.
