Madagascar The Musical coming to The Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury

Are you ready to move it move it?

A musical based on the smash-hit DreamWorks animated film Madagascar is coming to the county this summer.

It follows the story of Alex the lion who is king of the urban jungle, the main attraction at New York’s Central Park Zoo.

Madagascar the Musical is coming to Canterbury

He and his best friends – Marty the zebra, Melman the giraffe and Gloria the hippo – have spent their whole lives in blissful captivity before an admiring public and with regular meals provided for them. But not content to leave well enough alone, Marty lets his curiosity get the better of him and makes his escape to explore the world.

The musical, which is full of adventure as it follows the animals unexpected journey to Madagascar, is coming to The Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury in June.

Running from Wednesday, June 24 until Sunday, June 28 tickets are already on sale to Marlowe Friends and go on general sale from Monday (February 4).
