Luxury lodges at Leeds Castle in Hollingbourne to open in December

Luxury lodges at a historic Kent site are set to open this winter.

Four timber lodges have been built lakeside at Leeds Castle in Hollingbourne, near Maidstone.

Plans for the holiday cabins were originally submitted in January, before being approved in May.

Opening on December 8, visitors will now be able to enjoy a “calm and tranquil” experience along the banks of the Great Water Lakes – but it will set you back £325 per night on a bed and breakfast basis for two adults.

Each building will be made of timber cladding and consist of a single bedroom, a bathroom, an external bathing area and a balcony overlooking the water on the site grounds.

The new lodges have been designed in a way to allow guests to fully immerse themselves in nature. They will have private spaces where guests can relax and enjoy the scenery while enjoying a soak in the stone bathroom.
