Canterbury's The Beaney to host A History of Britain in LEGO bricks

More than 200,000 LEGO bricks are set to arrive in Canterbury as part of a special event at one of its top attractions.
The Beaney is hosting Bricks Britannia during February half term.
The history of Britain in LEGO bricks will include an eight-metre long model of the Flying Scotsman complete with light, sound and smoke effects.
In a real treat for LEGO fans, iconic moments in British history, from the Stone Age to the 21st Century, will be presented in brick form using over 150,000 bricks.
And your ticket will also include the opportunity to dive in and let your imagination run wild in The Beaney's 70,000-piece LEGO Brick Pit!
Bricks Britannia: A History of Britain in LEGO Bricks opens at The Beaney on Saturday, February 9 and runs until Sunday, February 24.
Admission is £6.50 for adults, £6 for concessions and £5 for children (under 3’s go free) and Canterbury Museum and Galleries members receive a 10% discount off their booking.
