Does your child fancy being a sushi ninja?

Learning how to make sushi, eating with chopsticks and taking in some fun facts will all be available at Mini Ninja Sushi School which is coming to two Kent locations this half term.

YO! the Japanese street food and sushi restaurant is bringing cookery classes for youngsters aged five to 12, to both its Canterbury and Bluewater branches.

Mini Ninjas will be taken through three recipes during the hour-long class - a Cucumber Maki, Salmon Nigiri and California rolls (with additional vegetarian options available).

A YO! chef will be on hand to help youngsters make their own sushi, learn how to eat with chopsticks and discover a new and exciting cuisine they may not have met many times before.

On completing the class, budding chefs will receive a Mini Ninja certificate, their own chef’s hat, crayons, and a special YO! bag to take home.

Children will be able to take home the food they make

All the dishes made on the day can also be packaged up to take away so parents can sample their children’s sushi creations too.

Classes are taking place between October 18 and 27 - primarily on Wednesdays - and begin at 11am. They cost £15 a child.
