Penshurst Place near Tonbridge to host Camp Wilderness summer camp

Fire lighting, archery, shelter building and fireside stories will all be on offer to Camp Wilderness kids in Kent this summer.

The summer camp provider is holding three-day residential stays for children aged six to 15 at Penshurst Place.

Described as giving children the opportunity to 'unplug and have some old-fashioned summer fun' Camp Wilderness allows youngsters to camp in ancient woodland, build and cook over open fires, try new pursuits and make new friends.

The magical outdoor adventures take place during the July and August summer holiday.

Camps are running at Penshurst Place from Monday, July 30 until Wednesday, August 1 and again from Wednesday, August 15 until Friday, August 17.

Summer camp begins at 10am on the first day and will finish at 3pm on the last day.

Nigel Miller from Camp Wilderness said: “We are thrilled to be bringing Camp Wilderness back to Penshurst Place and really look forward to welcoming children to our camps.

"With its ancient woodland and beautiful lake, Penshurst Place is an idyllic spot for children to spend a few days of their summer.”

The cost of the three-day camp stay is £249 per child but group and sibling discounts are available.
