Bluewater half-term events for all the family

Fun activities and events for the whole family is the promise of one Kent shopping centre this half-term.

Bluewater Shopping Centre in Greenhithe has a packed programme of events for the half-term break alongside its restaurants, shops, cinema, nature trail and parkland areas and Pirate Cove crazy golf attraction.

Here are just some of the activities your family could choose from:

Beach themed crafts

Free family craft sessions are taking place where children can decorate beach themed items ready for the summer months ahead.

From their own shoulder bags to summer t-shirts using fabric pens, sequins and stickers, youngsters will have a ball getting creative.

This takes place from May 29 until June 1 outside M&S.

MOTORSPORT EXPERIENCE WITH THE LONDON KARTING COMPANY

Budding racing drivers can get behind the wheel at a children's motorsport event. The large mobile circuit is being set up in the M&S car park with drivers as young as four being able to race.

The London Karting Co. will be at Bluewater from May 27 until June 5 and the cost is £5 per session.

JUNIOR DRIVING LESSONS

It might not be possible to take to the road in the UK until you are 17 but for children and teenagers aged 10-17 who are desperate to kick start their driving expertise early Young Driver at Bluewater will allow the to get behind the wheel of a car with skilled instructors in safe surroundings.
