Camp Bestival prepares for takeover at Dreamland Margate on Easter Sunday

Margate will be turning up the heat this weekend when one of the country's biggest family festivals stages a weekend takeover.

Camp Bestival takes place in July at Lulworth Castle in Dorset.

Thousands of families flock to the three-day event every year for live music, comedy, acts, fairground rides and oodles of festival fun designed with parents and kids in mind.

But Camp Bestival is currently on the road and enjoying a spring break at the Thanet attraction.

It's brought with it the World's Largest Bouncy Castle, the Love Bot installation and a raft of family activities.

But on Sunday - April 21 - festival founder Rob da Bank will be hosting an Easter Party.

Live music, DJs, entertainment, choirs, yoga and meditation will give Margate the Camp Bestival festival feel.

It's all taking place alongside Dreamland's rides, attractions and roller disco to make for an action packed day of fun.

And what's more families can enter Dreamland for free!

Visitors can either pay-per-ride or purchase an unlimited ride wristband. Bouncy castle tickets are booked separately.
