Films to see in Kent during the May half term school holiday

If you're looking to catch a film with the kids during the half term holiday you're likely to be spoilt for choice.
Disney's big blockbuster Aladdin has arrived in cinemas county-wide, the pups from Paw Patrol are making their big-screen debut and there's the sequel to the 2016 hit The Secret Life of Pets.
If one of your family's three wishes is for a trip to the cinema during half term, or the weather takes a turn for the worst, grab your popcorn head for a Kent cinema:
Aladdin
The latest Disney blockbuster has burst from the lamp just in time for half term.
The adaptation of the 1992 film of the same name has been directed by Guy Ritchie and, amongst others, stars actor Will Smith as the wish-granting Genie. Aladdin is one of a number of re-makes Disney has embarked on this year. Dumbo was released earlier this year and The Lion King will be out this summer.
Avengers: Endgame
Take the bigger kids for a family movie trip to catch the latest Avengers film. It's been out for a new weeks now but plenty of Kent cinemas are still showing the film during half term week for those yet to catch it.
Avengers: Endgame follows last year's Avengers: Infinity War and sees the surviving superheroes join forces to avenge their fallen comrades. The film is rated a 12A.
Detective Pikachu
Private eye Harry Goodman has gone missing prompting his 21-year-old son Tim to find out what happened. Helping is Harry's former Pokemon partner, Detective Pikachu: a hilariously adorable super-sleuth. Tim and Pikachu join forces on a thrilling adventure to unravel the tangled mystery. The film is rated a PG.
Paw Patrol: Mighty Pups
It's their first feature length film and fans of Paw Patrol will love the pups' debut on the big screen!
Follow the pups as an accidental encounter with a meteor which lands in Adventure Bay covers the gang with a mysterious green energy which turns them into superheroes with extraordinary powers. Watch the pups as they go on a mission to rescue a captured Ryder and save the day! The film is rated a U.
The Secret Life of Pets 2
Released on Friday, May 24 in cinemas county-wide the much anticipated sequel is set to be a big hit with animal lovers big and small! The film follows the 2016 blockbuster about the lives pets lead when their owners leave for work and school. The film is a U.
