Peter Rabbit is skipping into the grounds of three Kent attractions for a wintery themed trail this Christmas.

The National Trust is bringing the Peter Rabbit winter adventure activity trail to keep younger visitors occupied when visiting over Christmas and New Year.

Themed trail sheets cost £2

The trail is available to take part in at Chartwell, Scotney Castle in Lamberhurst and at Ightam Mote near Borough Green.

Trail sheets are £2 whilst stocks last and this is in addition to each site's normal admission prices. Visitors, including members, are also being reminded to pre-book their visit in advance to enable attractions to manage numbers and allow for social distancing.

At Chartwell trail sheets are £2 alongside normal admission prices.

And visitors coming to Winston Churchill's former home, whilst not able to enter the house under the government's current Tier 3 restrictions, will be able to see some of the beautifully decorated trees at the entrance to the house, shop and restaurant.

You will be able to spot some of the trees staff have decorated for Christmas

Christmas decorations are also available to spot at Scotney whilst visitors to Ightam will also be treated to the sounds of a virtual choir in the courtyard and there are also nine reindeer hidden in the gardens for families to spot. All have been crafted using materials from the gardens and grounds.

Whilst Tier 3 restrictions mean that properties are currently out of bounds alongside grounds and gardens being open, National Trust properties are offering takeaway catering services and shops are packed with festive gift ideas.
