Allow yourself to be transported to the land of Oz at one popular tourist attraction this summer.

Fans of Dorothy, Toto and their friends will not want to miss the latest event at Groombridge Place which is running from Saturday, August 18 until Saturday, September 1.

Visitors are set to be welcomed to Oz with shows, sing-a-longs and character meet and greets.

Wizard of Oz characters are at Groombridge for a fortnight

On the Draftman's lawn you may bump into the scarecrow as he wanders the gardens, or find out what it was like to live on a farm in Kansas when you talk to Dorothy.

Over at Crusoe's World - better known during the special fortnights as The Land of Oz - you will be greeted by Dorothy, The Tin Man, Lion Man and Scarecrow who will take you down the yellow brick road before performing a 45-minute spectacle.

In between these main performances you can catch The Wicked Witch of the West, performed twice a day by Acting Moon Events. And there will also be workshops where children will be taught songs and different dance routines and a few games to wear them out!
