Diggerland in Strood to reopen on April 12 as lockdown restrictions ease in Kent

A construction-themed adventure park in Kent is set to open its doors next month.

Diggerland, in Strood, will welcome back families on April 12 as the country moves to stage two of the government's roadmap out of lockdown.

To help give customers peace of mind when purchasing tickets, Diggerland has introduced a 'Two Year Open Ticket', which allows more flexibility when booking in a visit date. Furthermore, the theme park has held its 2020 prices for those wishing to purchase entry tickets between now and March 31.

All outdoor activities will be available, but indoor play areas will have to remain closed for a further six weeks, at minimum, due to government guidelines.

Whilst food and beverages will be provided at all four Diggerland parks, there will be restrictions. Customers are however welcome to take along picnics.

Full Covid-19 compliance will be in place and a maximum of 600 visiors will be allowed in daily.

Diggerland joins a number of Kent attractions confirming their plans for reopening.

Go Ape in Maidstone and at Bedgebury plans to reopen at the end of this month with tickets already on sale, alongside a number of watersports centres in Kent which will be ready to welcome visitors in time for the Easter holidays.
