Chatham's Historic Dockyard reopens for February half term

Grab your coat and goggles and step inside the secret lab this half term.
Chatham's Historic Dockyard is reopening on February 10 and is calling all budding scientists aboard.
Doc.Yard is a 45 minute experience where questions like why are there red lights in submarines and what are periscopes are answered.
The hands-on experience is broken into four interactive zones where balloons will also be burst by lasers, there will be the opportunity to get messy learning the difference between light and paint colours as well as lessons as to why certain objects light up in the dark and discover the link between ultra violet and submarines.
Doc.Yard is running at various intervals each day and timed tickets can be pre-booked on arrival.
The Dockyard, which has been closed for the winter, is celebrating its 400th anniversary this year with a busy calendar of events alongside the guided tours, historic ships, galleries, temporary exhibitions and gardens which are across its 80 acre site.
All tickets are valid for 12 months to enable families to pay once and visit all year round.
