Bluewater unveils The Big Switch On for Thursday, November 9

It's one of the biggest events in its calendar and attracts thousands of people every year.
And Bluewater Shopping Centre has now unveiled its plans for the switching on of its Christmas lights next month - with a slightly different twist on the events of previous years.
The Big Switch On will take place on Thursday, November 9 from 5pm until 8pm.
This year the majority of celebrations will be taking place inside the malls with a new event of indoor festive performances.
The big outdoor lights switch-on and fireworks display has been replaced with comedy, dance and music for families themed around the 12 Days of Christmas.
New decorations will be unveiled and acts will perform to shoppers throughout the Greenhithe centre, which will then culminate with a live show in the Moon Court outside M&S and a special appearance from Santa.
The event and performances are all free to attend.
Tickets for Bluewater's grotto and ice rink have already gone on sale. The new Gravity trampoline park is also expected to open during December.
