Miniature steam trains will be taking to the tracks at a Kent coastal park this week, welcoming families looking for an action-packed Easter break.

Bartons Point Coastal Park in Sheerness is running its miniature steam railway alongside a 1940s wooden dodgem circuit.

The dodgems, say the park's facebook page, will open on April 15 and run until Monday, April 22 and welcome families from noon until 6pm each day for £2 a car.

Set in over 40 acres of outstanding natural beauty, Barton’s Point Coastal Park includes a lake, adventure playground, nature trail, pitch and putt course, the steam railway and plenty of community events run from its popular Boathouse Cafe.
